DOT Trick or Streets — Sugar Painting for Kids Lina Liu Artist Group was invited by the NYC Department of Transportation to bring the traditional Chinese sugar painting art to 118-01 190th St, Jamaica, NY as part of the Trick or Streets celebration! Children watched with wide eyes and happy smiles as our artist turned melted sugar into beautiful candy artworks — from pumpkins and ghosts to butterflies and dragons. The event created a joyful Halloween afternoon filled with laughter, colors, and sweet cultural discovery.
