The Lina Liu Artist Group was thrilled to join this year’s NYC Department of Transportation Summer Streets, one of New York City’s most vibrant and beloved community programs. Our team brought a lively 45-minute performance to Plaza de las Americas, featuring dazzling Chinese acrobatics, ribbon dance, and umbrella balancing acts, creating a joyful celebration for families, neighbors, and visitors along Broadway. The audience’s energy was incredible — people stopped, cheered, and took videos as traditional Chinese artistry lit up the open street. Many attendees said our performance made the day “unforgettable,” filling the space with color, culture, and happiness.
