We were honored to be invited by the Chinatown Business Improvement District (BID) and Explore Chinatown to perform at their Mid-Autumn Open Streets celebration. The Lina Liu Artist Group brought Pell Street to life with a spectacular showcase of traditional Chinese performances, including Lion Dance, Sichuan Face-Changing, and Chinese Acrobatics. The vibrant energy, rhythmic drums, and dazzling costumes drew a large, enthusiastic crowd — filling Chinatown with excitement, applause, and smiles from families and visitors of all ages. Many attendees expressed how amazed they were by the artistry and cultural richness of the performance, calling it “one of the most exciting moments of the festival.” The entire neighborhood felt alive with celebration, symbolizing unity, happiness, and cultural pride. This free, family-friendly event not only highlighted the beauty of Chinese performing arts but also strengthened community connections through creativity and shared joy.
